What do we need from you?

The objective of our work is to collect detailed information on our immigrants and their descendents originally from Baabdat, Lebanon. This work will give you all the information available about you, your family, your relatives, the degree of kinship and the addresses, their histories, the causes of their emigration and the corresponding family trees.

What we need from you are personal and general information mentioned below, to complete our genealogical family trees, regarding you, your ancestors and descendants.
More information brings better results. If there are no details or information, you can skip this part.

P.S.: First of all, the most necessary and important is to give us your first and last name, your father’s and mother’s name, your children’s names, the addresses and any contact mails or phone numbers of each one. If possible passport photo of each one.

1. First Name - Last Name -  Gender: Male/Female
2. Father’s full name  - Mother’s full name (enter mother’s personal information if she is originally from Baabdat )
3. Spouse full name (enter spouse personal information if she/he is originally from Baabdat)
4. Birth date - Birth place - Marriage date - Marriage place
5. Emigration date - Immigration country - Immigration city
6. Death date -Death place
7. Job fields
8. Full Addresses (residence/work)
9. Phone numbers (Home/work) / Fax - Mobile numbers - Emails – Website
10. Children's names (if possible, with the details mentioned above)
11. Names of the immigrant members of your family and their respective full names as they were known in Lebanon or when they emigrated.

-General information

1. Can you provide us with a simple genealogical tree of your family, your cousins and yours relatives?
2. If you have any document belonging to the immigrant members of your family, such as: letters, magazines, newspapers or personal notes of any member of your family written in arabic or french or any other language.
   If you have their passports, Turkish documents or transit permit when they entered the destination country (these documents usually show the original name and may help us determine the real name, the real stories or the suffering of each immigrant or member), photos of them and of all the families (alone or with your family or with any member or person who is originally from Baabdat).
   Please inform us about these documents, keep, save and do not throw any in case we need them later.
3. Personal passport photo of each one (only the face, with high quality), in order to put it inside each personal information data.
4. If you would like to publish photos of your business shop or factory or anything regarding you or any member of your family, please send them to us with best quality.
5. Details or personal stories of difficulties (regarding work, homicide, injury or starvation…) encountered during emigration or lifetime or any special personal stories related to your immigrant family members.
6. Do you know members or relatives or persons in your country or abroad who are originally from Baabdat? Please try to send us details about them, such as addresses, phone or mobile numbers or emails.

Dear Relatives

This work requires a lot of time to complete and continuously update the information. We welcome any help in order to update or regularly modify any information such as addresses, births, marriages, deaths, new jobs, new factories… and send them to us to put them on line.

We also welcome any help in order to locate our relatives and all the persons who are originally from Baabdat.

We encourage any further suggestions, propositions, ideas or even criticism and comments in order to improve our common project.
